What? New post? No way!
That's right! I'm posting finally. I've been as busy as a mouse at a Chinese buffet. I really should be finishing my display board for my science project but I really need a break. I also have a cold too. Meh! It is no fun being sick. So what has been going on with me you may ask? Well I shall share a few highlights of the past two months.
1. Dancing. So you think you can dance? Yes, I do! I learned in gym class. I can now two-step, jive/swing, polka, waltz, do the butterfly, macarena, limbo and a few others. Didn't think a Baptist could pull that off huh? The swing was my favorite. Out of the 5 partners I had, only one actually knew the swing. So the rest - including my dance final partner - had to be taught by myself how to dance. All in all, it was a bunch of fun!
2. HEartBEATS. What an awesome night! There were amazing art and talented musicians. Bernard kicked off the night with some Starfield and Shawn McDonald. I am proud to be able to say "I know him!" There was a unique celtic group that really inspired me to break out the spoons and start making music, a dance group, a jazz singer and Steve Larsen played. I really enjoyed the little toddler that came up on stage, into the spot light and started dancing in the middle of one of the performances. Priceless. I also took some good vids of Bernard and Steve playing. My dad, Jen, Mr. Reimer, Chantelle, Bradie and I ended off the night with pizza and a Greek platter at Western Pizza. Mmm Mmm good! The only thing that kept be wondering was a small piece of paper. I was putting on my coat when a piece of paper fell from my coat in front of me. I picked it up to find an email address and cell phone number on it....hmmm....so what do I do? The email included the name Jon, so I know it's a guy but other than that, I'm pretty much doing nothing about it.
3. Jazz in the Aud. I was very impressed when I went to my school's jazz show just this last Thursday. Thom's vocal jazz is really good! And some of their facial expressions while singing are even better! Bands consisting of Thom students, some Thom graduates and a band of a few teachers had me tapping my foot to the beat and even clapping. The staff choir was hilarious with Bad Moon Rising and Me and Julio. Especially little Ms. Hubbs -the English teacher- who makes a big scene at the end about the wrong grammar of Me and Julio, as the staff shake their heads and walk off the stage. Go Ms. Hubbs! The night ended off with our high school's jazz band playing three songs. The first song was "Linus and Lucy" (the Charlie Brown, Peanuts song!) My friend Chad was the feature soloist on the piano. It was an awesome song. So the night was a hit....except for the ride home. Jen and I got to the bus station at 10:00pm, and waited a good half an hour for the bus. Finally we decided to walk home. We had just crossed the street when the bus zooms past. Grrrreat. So Jen and I hiked home. A little chilly but it was worth it.
Yeah so that's my little blurbs for the day. My mom needs to prepare Sunday School on the computer so I shall leave. But first, a few ending words of wisdom!
"Man who runs in front of car gets tired"
"Man who runs behind car gets exhausted"
"Man who stands on toilet gets high on pot"
"Man who goes to sleep with itchy bum wakes up with stinky finger"
Have an awesome weekend!
God bless,
Andrea

so you got hit on by someone you don't even know again? honestly andrea! i don't know if we can still be friends. that always seems to happen to you.... just kidding. i still love you.
I'm thinking of growing a mustache or something...you know, to keep the guys away. Haha. Nah, nothing to worry about. And if there is...well I have a crowbar in my purse! :)
Like they say, walk softly and carry a big stick. . . for beating people!
I mean really, what else will you do with a big stick?
Well...I could dig a hole, and plant the stick in fertile soil and water it every day, making sure it gets the proper amount of sunshine. And be there for it when it grows it's first buds, then leaves. Then I'll eat the fruit from my stick and I'll live of the fat of the land! That's what us tree huggers would do.
ahh! thats really creepy about that guy. ekk!
I'd have to agree with you Kara...
